To register and pay for online courses, click on the form below: Onsite Courses | Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course (see calendar for dates) This course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest. Providers are expected to learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases: a respiratory emergency, four types of cardiac arrest (simple VF/VT, complex VF/VT, PEA and asystole), four types of pre-arrest emergencies (bradycardia, stable tachycardia, unstable tachycardia and acute coronary syndromes) and stroke. - Initial = 8hrs/$175 | Renewal = 6hrs/$150

| Basic Life Support (BLS) - Healthcare Provider (CPR) Course (see calendar for dates) The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course is designed to prepare a wide variety of healthcare professionals with the ability to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use the AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The intended audience are those who provide direct patient care in a wide variety of settings. - Initial = 6hrs/$50 (textbook provided) | Renewal = 4hrs/$35

| Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Course (see calendar for dates) The Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor course prepares candidates to teach American Heart Association training programs including adult, child and infant CPR. Content includes a review of teaching techniques and skills performance assessment. The prerequisite for attending is current CPR provider certification from American Heart Association. - Cost = 8hrs/$235, nonrefundable and includes:

| Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED (see calendar for dates) This is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students the critical skills needed to respond to and manage a variety of emergency situations. Students learn how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also covers adult CPR and automated external defibrillator use. - Initial = 8hrs/$75 (textbook provided) | Renewal = 4hrs/$50

| Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course (see calendar for dates) The goal of the course is to teach students how to recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest, to provide students with strategies for preventing cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children, and to teach students how to perform the cognitive and psychomotor skills for resuscitation and stabilizing infants and children in respiratory failure, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest. - Initial = 16hrs/$200 (textbook provided) | Renewal = 8hrs/$150

| Online Courses | ACLS Heartcode Anywhere This online course provides an alternative training solution for the busy professional. It's the only e-learning system where a successful outcome results in an AHA course completion card. This self-directed ACLS learning program allows participants to practice techniques at their own pace while receiving feedback and evaluation of skills in less time than traditional training. This new program includes all AHA guidelines and updates for ACLS. - $105 registration (online portion)

| Basic Life Support (BLS) - Healthcare Provider Online This is a two part program for healthcare providers seeking an initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card. Part 1 is conducted through a series of self-paced online modules at onlineaha.org. Students answer short multiple-choice questions within case-based scenarios, and receive feedback based on their answers, to proceed through 10 critical checkpoints. This section provides access to 21 optional review sections, including 17 videos from the BLS for Healthcare Providers video, which reinforce the adult, child and infant CPR sequences taught in the course. Part 2 is conducted in person and the student demonstrates competency in performing the skills required by the American Heart Association. The time required to complete the skills check-off session varies. - Part 1 = 1-2hrs/$22
