The ACLS Provider Course delivers the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest. Providers are expected to learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases: a respiratory emergency, four types of cardiac arrest (simple VF/VT, complex VF/VT, PEA and asystole.), four types of pre-arrest emergencies (bradycardia, stable tachycardia, unstable tachycardia and acute coronary syndromes) and stroke. Class times are 8am till 5pm Note: No Nursing CEU's will be obtained with Heartcode ACLS provides an alternative training solution for the busy professional. It's the only e-learning system where a successful outcome results in an AHA course completion card. This self-directed ACLS learning program allows participants to practice techniques at their own pace while receiving feedback and evaluation of skills in less time than traditional training. This new program includes all AHA guidelines and updates for ACLS. BLS - Healthcare Provider Online Part 1 - $17.50 fee Part 2 - $35.00 fee This course is for healthcare providers seeking an initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card. Part 1 can be completed in approximately 1-2 hours; time to complete a practice session (Part 2) varies.
Pediatric Adv. Life Support
Textbook provided with initial course. The goal of the PALS Provider Course is to teach students how to recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest, to provide students with strategies for preventing cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children, and to teach students how to perform the cognitive and psychomotor skills for resuscitation and stabilizing infants and children in respiratory failure, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest. Class times are 8am till 5pm/textbooks included with initial course. Note: No Nursing CEU's will be obtained with this course. |
