Class Start Dates 

Basic Classes
Fall - August 15, 2011
There are seats available at our Covington, Gretna, Houma, Hessmer, and Lake Charles sites.  If you are interested in one of our open sites, you must attend the last minute Information/Testing session listed above.   Please keep in mind that there is NO guarantee you will get accepted into the program. The Lafayette and Baton Rouge basic classes are currently full.

Paramedic Classes
Fall - August 15, 2011
(Paramedic classes in Austin and Silsbee, Texas start February 7, 2011)
There are available seats at all sites for our traditional paramedic program.  You must be EMT-Basic certified to apply for the paramedic program.  If you are interested in the traditional paramedic program, you must  attend the last minute Information/Testing session that is listed above.  Please keep in mind you must meet admissions requirements.

*Lake Charles site does not have an elevator. If you need special mobility accommodations, please contact SLCC prior to information session date.*
