CEU Credit

The National EMS Academy is authorized to provide continuing education credit to EMTs, paramedics, and nurses.

EMS Continuing Education Credit

NEMSA is organizationally accredited by CECBEMS , the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services.

CECBEMS is responsible for the accreditation of EMS medical training programs within the United States . Accreditation is earned through voluntary participation in a peer review process and is based upon established standards and guidelines. The CECBEMS board was established in 1992 from a consensus in the EMS community for an independent accrediting agency.

Nursing Credit

Nursing CEUs are provided in association with the UL Lafayette College of Nursing and Allied Health Professions . The UL Lafayette College of Nursing and Allied Health Professions Continuing Education Program is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center 's Commission on Accreditation
