Military personnel are invited to attend our paramedic course. Build your military training into a civilian career! The National EMS Academy began a new training program to help military medics achieve their Paramedic certification. Ten Independent Duty Medical Technicians from the US Air Force are the first to participate in this bridge program. This class is the culmination of several years of working with the Air Force and other branches of the military to develop a curriculum that will effectively prepare military medics for the National Registry exam. Education Coordinator Nick Miller was instrumental in the development of the curriculum and serves as lead instructor for the program. To maximize the effectiveness of their training, different instructors with expertise in each subject matter will guide both the classroom lecture and the hands-on skills instruction. These medics have come from around the world to participate in this program, and we are very excited to have them here. Students are housed at our lodging facility on North University, while they receive their training. We currently do not have classes open to the public at this time. Please return to this page periodically for updates. If you have specific questions regarding the MMTP program click the "Contact Us" link at the top of the page.
