Here at the National EMS Academy, we are dedicated to providing a positive learning experience for our students. We use a combination of classroom instruction and real-life simulation to create an exciting environment for learning.


EMT-Basic classes are held four days a week (Monday thru Thursday) from 8:00am until 12:00pm each day.

If you will be attending classes in Texas, be sure to check the Austin, TX schedule to the right, which may differ from those listed here.

    • 17 days (68 hours)
  • Ambulance Clinical Time
    • One 12-hour shift
  • Hospital Clinical Time
    • One 12-hour shift
