Onsite Courses
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course
This course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest.  Providers are expected to learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases: a respiratory emergency, four types of cardiac arrest (simple VF/VT, complex VF/VT, PEA and asystole), four types of pre-arrest emergencies (bradycardia, stable tachycardia, unstable tachycardia and acute coronary syndromes) and stroke.
  • Initial = 16hrs/$175  | Renewal = 8hrs/$150
  • Schedule: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • AHA requirement: Students must have the most current AHA course materials before, during and after the course.
  • Note: Completing an online pretest prior to the course is required. The online access code is located in the book. You must bring the certificate to class.

*Please note: ACLS is for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies.

ACLS requires prior knowledge that will be applied in using the ACLS treatment algorithms. To be successful in any ACLS course, students should be able to identify ECG rhythms and should know pharmacology specific to cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiopulmonary emergencies before beginning the course. It is strongly recommended that students review the ACLS course materials contained within the program and complete the Precourse Self-Assessment prior to attempting the patient cases.

Course fee is payable at time of registration and is non-refundable.
